I never encountered it either, but I know it happened to the blue collar folks on the factory floors.
Software engineers pretty much do whatever they want, though. YMMV.

Yeah, Unions expect you to vote, those outside of unions, fuck it... you don't have a life outside of work when you are on their dime.Speaker to Animals wrote:I never encountered it either, but I know it happened to the blue collar folks on the factory floors.

You would think a dirty dick bastard child having idiot would learn more about the thing that previously bit him in the ass but I guess not. Cause if you did you would know there is no effective vaccine for TB, the cdc recommends none, and in fact it makes screening a bitch. It is a highly contagious disease that early detection and medication can cure. Once again, are you ever informed about anything? Are you ever right about anything?GrumpyCatFace wrote:Looks like this immigration thing solves itself. No genius. It's still going on today. That's why you had to eat a tax hike to pay for a TB clinic. Welcome to consequences.

There's no need or use for a dedicated "clinic" to handle a third-world disease. Nobody would go there, rather than a hospital, in the first place.

That's the problem, though. Because of the nature of factory work (i.e. union jobs), every last second of labor is accounted for as if the workers are just cogs in a machine. They don't get to cruise on out to vote in an extended lunch. The Conservative wrote:Yeah, Unions expect you to vote, those outside of unions, fuck it... you don't have a life outside of work when you are on their dime.Speaker to Animals wrote:I never encountered it either, but I know it happened to the blue collar folks on the factory floors.

It's the complete opposite of what you think. Blue collar workers are the ones who often get shut out of the vote by shortened vote hours on weekdays. Extended voting hours (and early voting) give them a chance to vote.
I suspect you actually will see the parties officially swap sides on the issue of extended voting because the democrats just lost the white working class, and they sure as shit won't want those guys voting in swing states in the rust belt now.

Never had a problem getting out to vote before/after work anyway.Speaker to Animals wrote:I never encountered it either, but I know it happened to the blue collar folks on the factory floors.

So I was right. You were wrong, stop trying to be dishonest. However, BCG is not generally recommended for use in the United States because of the low risk of infection with Mycobacterium tuberculosis, the variable effectiveness of the vaccine against adult pulmonary TB, and the vaccine’s potential interference with tuberculin skin test reactivity. The BCG vaccine should be considered only for very select persons who meet specific criteria and in consultation with a TB expert.

Is it really so shocking that Connecticut voted for a Democrat? I mean, at least try and act like you weren't born yesterday, there is no need to feign surprise.Zlaxer wrote:Not buying that....polling stations were open till 8pm...and absentee ballots were easily available....The while upper middle class voted for the DNC...and I can't figure out why.....I get it...people hate the Donald....but the CT DNC has driven us into the ground.....

Given the budget situation? the massive outflow of employers? the consistent population decline? Yes - I was expecting some sort of change.

True....but voting DNC is liking putting a shotgun to your head and pulling the trigger, whereas voting GOP is like shooting up with heroien.
Hey sister - I'm all for bringing the walls down as fast as possible....if that's what we as a country want to to....it's this drawn out scitzofrenic quagmire that I can't stand.....way too much stress trying to play by the rules when the rules are always up in the air.....not to mention the increasing tax burden.....fucking state legislature knows many people are stuck in CT...so they rape them....
