Holding out hope for Congressman Gowdy. Pretty sure no deranged Bernouts are going to attack a high-energy South Carolinian on his lawnmower without catching a bullet.
When I was a kid, some things were still sacred. A man sitting on his lawnmower and maintaining his lawn according to community standards should be unassailable.

Am I crazy here, though? That strikes me as incredibly dishonorable to ambush a man while mowing his lawn. It's an assault on what it means to be an American, really.

Two presidents of the US. Thank you very much. And I was a chef before I was a Tech. IT was my 2nd career.Montegriffo wrote:Well I've only been a chef for 38 years, obviously I cede to the greater knowledge of an IT engineer. The Conservative wrote:Funny though, the knives are good quality, high-quality steel, they hold an edge well. No knife holds an edge well enough for me, hence why I sharpen a blade every time before I use it.Montegriffo wrote: You get what you pay for....
Most of the reasons people spend several hundred to thousands of dollars on a set like the one I got is because of the name attached to the knife or set overall. Too many people spend $90 to $100+ on a Wusthof blade because of the name. The same metal is used in a Wusthof as in the same set I got.
Sorry, but you don't know what you are talking about in this case.
Tell me, how many members of the royal family have you fed?

They seemed to be dead right about Clinton getting the popular vote.C-Mag wrote:Penner wrote:Yeah, just to show how much of the public perceives their elected leader is a major thing.Zlaxer wrote:
Also, most americans are fucking idiots....so why put so much stock in what the "national" consensus is?
These polling groups were wrong by 15 to 20 points in the election. Why trust them now ?

He’s got the best approval ratings. It’s just the lame stream lying media lying with their lies. lol folks, look at the rallies. Millions of people come out any time he speaks. It’s beautiful it really is. Just ask around. Really it’s the best.
And classy. He’s a really classy guy. Everybody says so. With big hands.

Polls were predicting Hillary to win the popular vote by 8% to 16%. So lets, just be conservative and take the average 12% points better than Trump. If the polls were right this is what the votes would look like.
53% Clinton = 72,676,506 votes
41% Trump = 56,221,448 votes
The pollsters missed by 10% points.
Clinton support areas are small islands, with a dense populations surrounded by Trump Supporters

Consider also with respect to those blue towers.. there exists large republican minorities in those districts who don't vote (or might vote third party if they vote at all). If you went to a popular vote, the floodgates would open.
I can't believe democrats are still harping on the popular vote thing. The electoral college is the only thing that is keeping them at least hypothetically relevant in the future. If we switched to a popular vote, the only thing they would control is the cities.
It's not accurate to call those small islands of democrats surrounded by Trump supporters. They are small islands with huge fifth columns of Trump supporters already on them.
