‘I don’t want to be associated with him’: 100 eighth graders refuse to pose with Paul Ryan during DC trip

About 100 eighth grade students refused to pose with Speaker of the House Paul Ryan on Friday, snubbing the top Republican to protest his policies.

Though Ryan’s official Instagram features a photo of him waving to a group students from South Orange Middle School in South Orange, New Jersey, it does not show their peers sitting in a park lot across the street, in an apparent rebuff of the GOP leader.

“It’s not just a picture,” student Matthew Malespina told ABC News. “It’s being associated with a person who puts his party before his country.”

From what I've seen, possibly. I saw the rundown of the story and I'll try to paraphrase

POC students possibly make a class or encourage only POC students to attend on the local social media.

A Puerto Rican student sees this and copy pastes the same ad on social media but replaces POC with white.

Shit storm ensues on social media where the kid is threaded violently. He decides to print out copies of the replies to his ad and plaster them around campus.

Now he's fucked. They figure out who he is and are confronting him physically in larger packs.

The admin and student admin does whatever they do to try and calm the situation but it seems to be like they are mostly disciplining white students or something?

Puerto Rican kid attempts suicide but lives.

Somewhere along the way massive chimp outs are in progress probably to this very minute.

Cops are possibly barricading themselves in at the police station.

Nobody cares because this is the latest in a long line of chimp outs on campuses.
