The dollar has no value... that's the greatest scam in the world.

Ha ha - you know what I mean - when will people stop trading it?
They’ll stop using it when an alternative becomes more convenient. People continued using reichsmarks for quite a while, after they were nearly worthless.

You’re best off buying gold/silver/land with dollars at the moment. It’s collapsing already, just not overnight.
I wonder if this is why the EU is so unpopular. Fear of the Euro?
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

No, more that we don’t want any part of that over-regulatory mess.

In terms of succession to the dollar though, they’re next in line.

There's no currency next in line if China falls too. After watching that video on world trade; China's in a much worse place than the U.S.

Enjoy your chlorinated chicken.

It's fear. The United States of Europe challenges US dominance.

Agreed. My dad remains convinced that China will take over the world tho.

I said they’re very good at terrorizing their own people and providing slave labor. That’s about it.

LOL what’s their binding culture or mythology? They don’t offer anything but a bland corporate management scheme.

Not relevant. It's a trade block to compete with US dominance. Strength in numbers.
Who gets the best trade deal, who gets to negotiate the best terms?
Britain standing alone or Britain as a part of the EU?
Turn it around, what pressure could Ohio put on the EU to protect their own interests if they stood alone?

Depends on what Ohio can do that others can’t. That’s how competition works.

The UK isn't equivalent to Ohio, though. If there is a state equivalent it would be New York. New York would have a lot stronger hand in trade negotiations than Ohio. The UK on its own is still in a fairly string economic position for trade negotiations. Obviously not as string as the US or EU, but no pushover either.
