I suspect the law of the land is be a net benefit or at least a net neutral to the forum - but inflict net loss at your own peril.

That would be the obvious rule for most things in life.

At no point during the prosecution of the war was I subjected to any form of discipline, in fact, when the enemy combatants went crying to Marty Hash to fight their battles for them, Marty Hash actually said "no rules", so in fact the assertion that Marty Hash intervened in the NHL Hockey Talk War is a myth, he never did.
