I disagree Martin.

I went from a broke as fuck welfare kid, to soldier, to someone who is legitimately predicting I'll be retired by 36.

I give all of that up in a divorce to someone who is a bartender.

Prenup? Keep in mind that despite what happens in family court, something like only 5% of divorce cases end up there. Most divorces are quite amicable.

My divorce was a split 50/50 - we went through all the stuff together even. It was a rough time, but we didn't want to be hateful; just separate with the least drama possible.

On my final (second) marriage now; it wasn't even a question; two months in we already knew it was forever. Still, we waited four years before marrying. Nerd's not going anywhere and neither am I. Ridiculously happy, we are.

Until they finally admit they want the right to kick their husbands out of their husband's own homes (which those husbands probably mostly paid for), steal the kids from said husbands, and then literally enslave them, there can be no traction on the marriage deal. Men will check out from this bullshit system in increasing numbers and women will be the worst to suffer from that.

Just step back from it and look at it like any business contract. Who in their right mind would accept those terms??
