Apparently you think that morality taxes are the only way to generate revenue in order to expand the government, but that is not actually the case, in fact, morality taxes are resulting in ever less revenue for the government all the time, which is why you have a twenty trillion dollar deficit.

If you actually want to pay for the expansion rather than printing magic money to fill the hole, you have to get off the morality taxation train.

I've been for shrinking the government for a long time. Problem is, that's not really and option on the table. The options being offered myself at the moment are 1) a Liberal ideology which is destroying this nation by using identity politics to attain power at all cost. 2) An imperialistic, militaristic, oligarchy (Never-Trump Republicans). 3) Tump

Democracy cannot solve this problem, it's not subject to voting, only a revolution could free you from this yoke.

America is a revolutionary republic after all, you'll note that there is no mention of voting, in the Declaration of Independence.

Britain was a democracy in 1776, the American Revolution was in fact anti-democratic, not pro.

I reckon it well may come to that. I only hope the cost outweigh the benefits and we decide to localize more. The lose of trust in institutions is what the Left and Right share most in common so maybe there is a compromise to be had, Indi/Paki style.
