I should point out that at least one of the emails came from management three levels up the chain. So, not my manager (low-level manager in charge of contractors), or her manager (the manager of other MS managers), but the next manager (the manager of a significantly large group within MS).
So . .. this isn't just a bunch of college kids making mistakes at their first job, which would be understandable. These are people who have been in the workforce for decades and have achieved positions of significant power.
