Apparently the kids were there when the man went in the water, and they warned him not to do so. Then they decided not to risk their lives going after a crazy person who hops in strange bodies of water with his clothes on. Seems pretty reasonable to me. Hell, they probably can't even swim.

Was thinking the same thing. They could have still called the cops but black people aren't really in the habit of doing that either.they probably can't even swim

Why not call 911? It's not just for cops. It's rescue, fire, ambulance and whatever emergency. They didn't because they are divorced from society. They don't follow normal human behavior because they aren't brought up right. Your society is coming apart at the seams.

Yeah police and firemen are first responders. I never figured out the firemen bit. I guess they are all EMT's as well whereas cops aren't.
