They can't win over conservative whites or even figure out how to get them to vote in block. You're right they will skuttle Bernieism in favor of racial politics but they knew that since LBJ oversaw the Hart-Cellar act. They've known this for decades once the party switch happened.

Also Pence is basically standing between normal Christian families and all of the pozz the LGBT community has been pushing on their children. Remember 20 years ago when they promised if we gave them "gay rights," they wouldn't fuck with the children? 20 years later and here we are. Pence isn't crazy. You are. When he said legalizing same sex marriage would lead to the collapse of society he was right but that is only one of the things leading to it.

Most people are ok with the gays now and that will only become more so. Younger people moving up older people moving out. 75 percent of millenials support gay merge. That's just how it is.

The fact that there are some nuts on the side they agree with won't make them like the nuts with whom they disagree.
