I am relieved that, in spite of being constantly harangued by the lying media, and under constant attack by Democrat conspiracies, the Trump administration has found the strength to protect crony capitalism as valiantly as Clinton would have.

Senate Republicans on Tuesday night leaned on a tie-breaking vote from Vice President Mike Pence to kill a landmark financial regulation that restricts banks and credit card companies from imposing mandatory arbitration on their customers as a means to resolve disputes.

This one is really bad.

Sounds like the Banks continue to set financial policy in the US. But then our entire economic system is based on a private bank with a monopoly on our money. Banks getting a sweet deal at the cost of plebs

This budget never balances, and it adds $5.5 trillion—nearly double the amount added by the House-passed budget—to the national debt over the next decade. In fact, this is the fourth budget in the last seven years that never balances.

Passing a budget that doesn’t address out-of-control spending and adds trillions of dollars to the national debt just to achieve some policy goal—which also could be accomplished with a responsible budget—is an endorsement of a warped worldview where the end justifies the means.

Building a better America for ourselves, our children, and our grandchildren requires Congress to make tough decisions to reduce spending now. Unfortunately, this budget ignores Washington’s spending addiction and places the burden on future generations.

Now, had this happened during the Obama administration (or the hypothetical Hillary Clinton administration), you guys (and the GOP) would be all over it, but of course it's a non-issue when it comes to the Trump administration, business as usual:

A $300 million contract to help rebuild Puerto Rico's electrical infrastructure, which was awarded to a small, two-year-old Montana company that had only two employees when Hurricane Maria struck the U.S. territory, has sparked calls for an investigation from both Republicans and Democrats on Capitol Hill.

In addition to its size and relative inexperience, the fact that Whitefish Energy Holdings is based in Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke's hometown of Whitefish, Mont., is fueling questions about how Whitefish Energy Holdings secured the lucrative contract. The former Montana congressman's son also had a summer job at a Whitefish construction site.

Actually, the owner is a friend of Ryan Zinke and, of course, has given money to a Trump during the election.

the firm is based in Zinke’s hometown and that its CEO, Andy Techmanski, is friendly with the Interior secretary, while the Daily Beast reported that Whitefish’s general partner maxed out donations to the Trump primary and general election campaigns, as well as a Trump super PAC, in 2016.

In addition to Techmanski’s relationship with Zinke, Joe Colonnetta, partner at Whitefish and founder of HBC Investments, the private-equity firm that finances the energy company, is a significant power player in Republican politics, according to the Beast.

Colonetta donated a total of $74,000 towards Trump’s presidential victory and $30,700 to the Republican National Committee, the Beast reported. His wife, Kimberly, separately gave $33,400 to the RNC shortly after Trump’s win,

I work Construction and Consulting, and have contracts with the Federal Government. While it may seem shocking for a company with 2 employees to bid on huge contracts, it's pretty normal. We call these guys "Suitcase Outfits", meaning the company only owns a suitcase. They bid contracts, typically very high, hoping to luck out and get the contract. Then they fly to the location and subcontract all the work.

This is a good case to investigate, feeling it for the Contracting Officer and the Technical Review Panel that approved these guys. They are going to be put under the microscope. Oh, Well.
