And in 2018, DiFi.
The joke doesn't rehabilitate GWB; or Georgetown Preppies. It does make me smile over here in my insular Tahiti, tho.

No, she has straight up SJW credentials:Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Tue Sep 25, 2018 7:27 am
I think it said PhD in English (creative writing).
Which is why the whole “I’ve read hundreds of letters, here’s my PROFESSIONAL opinion” sctick is laughable. When you’re a PhD who has to hyper-inflate your credentials because you’re offering a PROFESSIONAL opinion on a topic you have zero actual credentials in, you’re off to a bad start.I have a Ph.D. in sociology and a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies with a focus on creative writing.

The point was the letter didn’t look like it was written by a PhD. That point could’ve been made in one tweet. Leave to a lady “doctor” of sociology to turn it into a 25-tweet ordeal, complete with petty line-edits and rife with over-sharing.
Jeez.
It’s like watching Forrest Gump get something right - sure, his point is made, but was all the accompanying retardedness really necessary?
Clearly I should’ve gone for a PhD as well, had no idea how low the bar was set.

One of the interesting things you learn on your way to graduate school is the list of fallacies, the ad hominem being one of the primary offenses..
I agree she didn't need to pump up her credentials to make the argument, but she's also just doing her hustle and making a living just like everybody else. I think you should just focus on the argument made if you plan on pursuing an education higher than your bachelor of arts degree..
I do not think it impossible that the woman described as the author of the letter actually wrote it. I simply find it to be yet one more inconsistency in this entire story.

So, was he a sexually aggressive jock, or was he a timid virgin?
Seems like both narratives are being pushed, by the same people, at the same time.
I don't know what he did, or didn't do, and neither does anyone else. But it's a shame if accusations can destroy someone's career, without any proof at all.
First accusation is pretty awful, and if true, he should not be appointed. Second one is basically just tasteless shenanigans I'd expect anyone could do.

Made that point on a local AM show after a few afro-americans called in saying to believe the woman.
Went over the host's head. I even cited a U of MI study about the disproportionate rate blacks are falsely accused compared to whites.
It seems like an obvious point to me. One fella said KY was to Right for him and he was moving as soon as he could. I was sad.

That's the part that has to end. We should not live in a society where anybody's entire life can be destroyed by a malicious lie with no evidence to back it up.Otern wrote: ↑Tue Sep 25, 2018 8:52 amSo, was he a sexually aggressive jock, or was he a timid virgin?

I think this needs to be investigated thoroughly and if this woman cannot substantiate her allegations, and her story falls apart factually, then she should face legal consequences.
Being the victim of a false rape accusation is WORSE than rape. Women need to understand that. No amount of crying about "what if she was really raped" is going to change my mind because WHAT IF HE IS INNOCENT??
