The Empire is good.
Freedom of Navigation is worth fighting wars over.
The trap to avoid is Eisenhower's Domino Theory.
Army entrenched interest.
Booby traps.
Stay out of there.
Strike from the sea.
For freedom of navigation.
Then just sail around them.

I agree with that slogan... Let's change it back...
Back to when there were only two genders.
Back to when people weren't demanding to be called by an insanely growing list of pronouns.
Back to when beating people up on the street was a crime no matter what your politics was.

Re: 2020 election
I think Biden wants it back to when his type of covert sexual harassment was quietly accepted.
While he is the most centrist one in the race (not difficult when the field is filled with Fascists and Socialists), his touchy history is going to give him problems with the #metoo supporters. It also negates any attack of Trump for any "pu$$y grabbing".
I still feel like there is going to be a late entry that ends up taking the nomination. Joe doesn't seem to have his heart in running, and he's going to get torn apart by the growing radical wing of his own party. He's an old white guy that has a history of unwanted touching of women.

I agree, I don't think Biden's heart is in it. I think he wanted to run in 2016, but BHO, and the Dem leadership had promised the nomination to Hillary. Now they come back to Biden and beg him to run. He's got to have a high level of butthurt.PartyOf5 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2019 6:07 am

I don't know who else they could run. The press is lining up behind Biden fast. I've already seen reports that Biden is leading Trump in polling.

I didn't even bother, I knew from 2016 that is was heavily skewed. I just said to myself.
Well, they had Hillary 30 points ahead of Trump, now they have Biden by 6, sounds like Trump is stronger than ever.
It will be interesting to see how polling is handled during the 2020 campaign. Plenty of embarrassment in 2016 for weighted polling.

The polls will says it's a close race not matter who runs against Trump. They don't want a repeat of 2016, not because they were so wrong, but because they fear it led the Democrat voters to complacency. This time they will be calling it close in order to motivate their voters to get out and vote against Trump. That's all I trust the polls for.

I agree. MSM polls are pure propaganda.PartyOf5 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2019 8:35 amThe polls will says it's a close race not matter who runs against Trump. That’s not saying it won’t be close though; no one ever changes their mind so nothing that’s happened over the past 2 years means a damn thing. People vote their best interests, period. It’s mathematically certain that half the people will immediately benefit by forcing the other half to share.

I think the dem primary will somewhat mirror the repub primary of 2016. Establishment (Biden, Harris, etc.) will all crash and burn.
