2.5 million Americans served in Vietnam, but only about 20% of them were deployed for combat, so really it's 0.2% of the population, and in fact, the very people who now castigate Trump for not serving in Vietnam, were the one's at the time saying that it was every Americans duty to refuse to partake in this crime against the republic, so it's one standard for them, then another when it's Trump, who knew?

Liberals take deferments to avoid serving in Vietnam; "Heroes of the Republic!"

Oh I picked up that one especially with the part "was eligible for exemption, but chose to serve anyways". Now Trump didn't even remember which was his bad foot (even if he was an OK athlete at school). His personal Vietnam was avoiding STD's.

Funny how people made a huge fuss about Clinton being a draft dodger, but then stay silent with Trump. But of course, everything just depends on what side is doing it.
