Not up to speed on ConLaw, but it's a state school.....but SCOTUS has said schools are "special environments blah blah....protect the power of the state....blah blah...."

If you want the truth, I think the idea of free speech on a college campus is silly. A campus is a place of research and learning. Academic freedom should exist for faculty, post-docs, and grad students working towards some kind of research. Undergrads: lol, no. They should go to college to learn. Try to reach maybe age 26 or so and you might have something interesting to say. Meanwhile, work on your studies and stop making a scene.

26 seems to be the magic number for a lot of people for political and social discourse. For math and actual physical science.. sure. Speak up.

Hell, if I had my way, legal adulthood wouldn't begin at least until age 21. These college undergrads act like drunk children because that's exactly what they are.
