Metro Seattle home prices falling at fastest rate in U.S.
https://www.seattletimes.com/business/r ... te-in-u-s/
When did I start this thread again ... May? Is that when Seattle City Council started trying to fleece the fuck out of Amazon and every other company in the area under the laughable guise of
"for the homeless"?
And when did Seattle's housing market start it's nation-leading nose dive?
Mighty coincidental.
As nmoore says, "Liberalism, not even once".

Looks like they figured out how to solve the housing shortage and homeless crisis, though.
My property value has gone up almost fifty percent in three years because of all the coastal fucks fleeing the consequences of their politics.

I am wondering who the Gibs-lords will blame for homelessness now. For years it has always been mean ol' Amazon pricing people out of Seattle. All the hookers, schizophrenics, and drug addicts living in parks would obviously have three bedroom homes if it weren't for Jeff Bezos and his evil money.
Well, now they've scared Jeff and every other company making $20+million a year out of Seattle and we're leading the nation in declining home values.
So who do we blame for homelessness now?
Look at that, leftists, down come the home values. Let me know when all the homeless take advantage of the housing market drop. You fucking dimwitted wankers.
AUUUUUUGGGGGGHGHHHHHHHHHH WHY DID I MOVE TO THE WEST COAST?
FUCK.
Ah, that's right - jobs. Fucking jobs.
Ah well.
Back to work.

Just another example of a coming Leftie wasteland. The Liberal Locasts have nearly picked Seattle clean, it's becoming unsustainable, and now they will start moving on to other productive areas of the country to harvest.
It only took them about 40 years to eat the economic heart out of Seattle.

Perhaps the silver lining is that Amazon is building the new HQ in New York and DC because those places are even more corrupt with hand outs than Washington State is.....

I think tech companies are making a big mistake.
People are fleeing these places first chance they get. Amazon could build a huge campus somewhere in semi-rural Kansas, pay to move new hires out, pay them the same salaries Amazon would pay in Seattle, and I think they would see even more qualified applicants. Their taxes would be much lower too.
Use their charatable funds to build nice parks, etc. Put decent rec centers on campus for employees and families. Basically treat the campus like a military base.

They chose NYC and WDC to get political protection in the coming Anti-Trust Cases against the monopolistic mercantilism.
