Man, it is amazing how DC can be both a swamp of spineless bureaucrats and a deep state of tyrannical operators denying real Americans their freedom.

:violin:
You haven't shown a juxtaposition. One need not be a vertebrate to construct a labyrinth to consume and evade the liberties of the American people.
The somewhat byzantine construction of the US government was supposed to be a feature, not a bug.

I guess, eventually, with enough freedom from the gub'ment, private companies will finally be able to step up and protect things like free speech.
Oh we know big government is a feature for you.

Yeah, those stupid founding fathers and their balance of powers bullshit.

They should have made a small, streamline system, since those are, presumably, impervious to corruption.

Yeah no, nice try. You supports things like CFPB with no accountability and no checks. You can stop lying.

Ah, putting words in people's mouths, and divining the thoughts in their heads, and then accusing them of being disingenuous.

The high level of discourse, current year.

None of them intended for the SCOTUS to hold as much power as it does. Even Madison regretted it and admitted he never saw that coming. Just throwing it out there that perhaps the current government is not what they had envisioned at all.

Our constitution has an impeachment process. Our legislative branch has a lot of technical power to hold the other branches accountable, if there is the will to do so.

Still, I am not sure how getting rid of consumer protections agencies would limit the power of the supreme court. I mean, packing the court would diminish the power of particular nominations, but that is usually seen as a pretty unpopular move.

In a society that values rule of law, jurists are going to have a good amount of clout. What are ya gonna do?

Should've just put "King George" (Washington) into office and been done with it!

Kritarchy is an effeminate form of government with only one ancient precedent that took place in judea. The founding fathers really fucked up when they nailed the windows shut and illegally rammed through the constitution, throwing the baby out with the bath water.

As for consumer protection agencies, we need them obviously. We also need them to quit being corrupt. I dont have an argument I just wanted to point out that SCOTUS is an abomination.

Perhaps they would have come up with the perfect government on the first try if they hadn't been Jew-cucked out of their masculinity, or something. We'll never know, I guess.
But, in our system, we aren't actually 'ruled' by judges. There is plenty that could be done to restrain the court, and maybe the will to do it will present itself over the next few decades. Loads o' faggot, low-info progressive libtards are already on the 'eliminate lifetime appointments' bus, after figuring out that every judge wasn't going to be RBG or Warren.

It is a good thing we have an effeminate, adaptable system of government, since no one can predict the future.

SCOTUS shouldn't be able to dictate the law of the land. That's what our elected representatives are for. I find courts extremely talmudic in nature anyway. I suppose I should feel somewhat lucky that for now they haven't reinterpreted the 1st and 2nd. The 2nd really is poorly worded other than the shall not infringe part, the one part that gets infringed on.
