Beam of Ohio State University in the International Journal of Press/Politics examined how audiences of different political persuasions react to jokes made by Stephen Colbert. The results are quite astounding
Conservatives found Colbert less funny than Liberals, ergo conservatives have no sense of humor.

I don’t think conservatives or liberals have a lock on “stupid people”.

Although ... one of those ideologies disagrees, and builds its membership on the idea that they’re the educated elite and their opponents are dummies and religious fanatics.
