There's a "forever alone" reddit for romantically/sexually hopeless people, kind of like a benign version of the incel reddit. The reasons vary, some are supposedly shockingly ugly, some are just too lacking in social skills/personality.
They're basically saying, "we can't get laid, normal dating advice doesn't apply to us for X reason, people act like it's our fault for not trying even though we have tried."

Many people try really hard at sports and never make it to the pro teams, even though they really tried.

Course unless you have some serious mental issues, I have a hard time believing anyone can truly bat a .000.
If you do indeed have said issues, that sucks, I'm sorry. I wish you luck finding your peace. Perhaps robots will be help.
Course I come from a strong family that provides lots of this support. I also have a hard time relating to people will little family interactions. Probably part of why I don't think the government is very necessary.
