I’m sure the Dems will get right on that instead of trying to pass the 198th property tax for progressive bullshit this month.

But that's exactly what we need to do.

The democrats' solutions are always to incentivize the dysfunction, not solve it.

San Diego is "handling" the problem.

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/201 ... -big-tents
The industrial-sized tent holds 324 people in neatly spaced, numbered bunks. People can bring their pets, and 70 dogs also live in the shelter. It offers a bed and services – from healthcare to employment assistance to showers and laundry – while people wait for a place of their own. In appearance, it evokes a military installation or a refugee camp.

“You come in here with nothing and they provide everything,” said Sylvia Saliman, 58.

Score another win for “give a man a fish”.

... and a house.
... and water.
... and electricity.
... and medical care.
... and a smartphone.
... and clothes.
... etc.

Fuck that shit. If I were homeless, I'd rather camp out in the woods.

Or just go on a semi-permanent hike along the Appalachian or Pacific Crest trails. Save your money if you can collect some, and then fly to Argentina to do it all over again when it warms up down there.

It's pretty inhumane to let them go through opiate withdrawal too. We really should provide them with their medication. Have a heart people.

No, have some immodium.

Lots of people go through withdrawal. You go to Walmart, buy the giant bottles of immodium, and you carry on.

Well if the thousands of twenty something long hairs that plague the coastal cities from my state preferred immodium to smack, they wouldn't be homeless.

Having gone through almost a year of really shitty withdrawal, I can tell you that relief is right there at Wally World. You can get a giant bottle of the stuff for about five bucks.

Drug abusers are hooked on opiates because they want to get high. When (if) they really want to quit, they will quit.

But you're preaching to the choir here. I would house them all -- in a mandatory drug rehab facility.

I’d house them at the front line of my shock troop army.
