Jersey shouldn't be buyers, they are nowhere near close to making a run, and they are giving up second round draft pick for short term monetary gain via rental player? Bitches be crazy. You can never have enough young prospects in the pipeline, don't be silly, Grabner is washed up and the Devils got fleeced.Smitty-48 wrote:He's a rental, just speed forechecking and penalty kill, NJD ain't worrying about a 2nd right now, they're loaded up with kids, they need some playoff money for the owners.StCapps wrote:Grabner is slowing down and they give up a second rounder. For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

PIT-OTT deal involving Brassard is ultra-complicated, so much so that Brassard will likely first be traded to a team other than PIT. Then flipped to PIT. Hearing that third team is likely VGK. Potential for layers of salary retention.

Brassard to Pittsburgh for a 1st, goalie Gustavsson and other cap related elements. Ian Cole to Ottawa part of deal as well. Ottawa, Pittsburgh and VGK are still ironing out wrinkles in the Brassard trade to Pens. It's being reworked according to sources.

Pierre LeBrun. He's legit, LeBrun wouldn't put it out there if the meeting didn't happen.Fife wrote:Wayment. Wayment.Smitty-48 wrote:Rumour is Poile has been having talks with Ottawa about Karlsson coming to Nashville.

Word is Karlsson is amenable to going to Nashville, but his agent prefers to do it the summer, Poile however, like everybody else, wants two shots at the Cup with Karlsson, so if Ottawa waits till the summer, the price comes way down, thus, Ottawa is taking the meeting now.
