I like Grabner, he was snakebit for the Leafs, but he's been money for the Rangers, and he's dirt cheap.

Grabner is slowing down and they give up a second rounder. All he does is score goals by getting breakaways, he can't get an assist to save his life, foolish.

PIT-OTT deal involving Brassard is ultra-complicated, so much so that Brassard will likely first be traded to a team other than PIT. Then flipped to PIT. Hearing that third team is likely VGK. Potential for layers of salary retention.

Word is Karlsson is amenable to going to Nashville, but his agent prefers to do it the summer, Poile however, like everybody else, wants two shots at the Cup with Karlsson, so if Ottawa waits till the summer, the price comes way down, thus, Ottawa is taking the meeting now.
