Anyone awake and watching the opening ceremony?
That opening film was like Indiana Jones on acid. Great stuff.

For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

In the states, what we see and when is entirely dependent on advertising dollars. The big events (Skating, skiing, ceremonies,) all get televised after the fact in the next prime time television schedule.Montegriffo wrote:Anyone awake and watching the opening ceremony?

Opening ceremonies won't air for another 11-12 hours.

TBH it all went downhill ('scuse the pun) after the opening video. Good to see participants doing it gangnam style during the athletes parade though.
Amazing to see countries like Ghana and Barbados entering athletes. Not known for their snowfall.

No NHL players at the Olympics, No Russia either, fuck the 2018 Winter Olympics and the horse it rode in on. The Avs played last night and it went pretty damn terrible, but even watching them get blown out is more entertaining than this years Olympics.

Like I said, we should just merge all the threads into one. Content organization is for freedom haters.StCapps wrote:Off-topic posting FTW, woop woop.Kath wrote:I've been working on a screenplay. It's currently 70 pages. I'll post one page an hour if you guys want.
