I believe life is mostly a lottery. I had a lot of tickets due to my intelligence & temperament, and I hit the jackpot 3 times before I was 40, but I lost many 1000s of times. Getting rich could happen to people with only a comparatively few tickets, which is why I usually judge a person based on accomplishments. It's fucking difficult to accomplish anything. I give to chops to almost anything anybody does.
