99% of that information is nowhere to be found on any MSM sites or broadcasts. Is it because 99% of that information is false, or is it because the MSM doesn't want the public to find out just how bad this really is?

And thus we come face to face with the deep, existential question of our age don't we?

Never fear though; if no convictions come of this, and the entire DNC isn't summarily executed as traitors, we will know just how venal, partisan and untrustworthy our Justice Department really is.

Stop with the partisan drama. I want to know the facts. I can't trust the media to tell me anything other than what they want the story to be. The whole political system is rigged, so I don't expect any consequences for the parties involved. In a week the media will be burying this under a load of 'Russia!" and tweet noise. Awan will quietly find his way to Pakistan. Our political leaders will continue to sellout anyone and everyone in order to keep their power and control.

I think what is going on is that powerful people, from executives at HSBC to organs of entrenched government groups, have gone so long without being held accountable that it is easy to believe anything that is said about them.

It wouldn't be so hard to answer if we had more honest journalists in this country. Too much misdirection, misinformation, and narrative pushing in the media. They want to tell "their" story, as if they are writing shows based on true stories.

I still think it's possible to get to the truth, but you have to dig through a lot of crap to get to it. Then you have to determine, mostly on your own, what is true and what is not. I think some people, like a number of posters in this forum, have gotten pretty good at filtering out truth from BS.

I went through journalism classes, they don't teach the old style of journalism anymore, going through the world trying to find a story, it's waiting and see what shows up and use someone else's today it seems. I hardly see any good reporting anymore, and those that are "good reporters" suck.
