When the other guy doesn't have an air force at all, that's air supremacy.

Doesn't win you the war, but it does allow you to strike with impunity for all intents and purposes.

In terms of fast air, the Turks mostly have F-16's. They also use modernized F-4 Phantom II as bomb trucks.

It's mostly about living in the field. They spend a lot of time in the field.

If you can handle living in the bush for months on end, then it's doable.

They teach you everything, if you just follow the training and don't screw around, then it's no tougher than the Marines.
