See, this is why the dems lean on the race stuff and all that. It's just divide and conquer. They obviously could gain a lot of ground on a Bernie platform but that's not where the money is. After Bernie almost ate their lunch, they don't listen. They silence. "Obviously the problem here is that we aren't Hillary enough! If we just get these people to shut up about things like personal debt, everybody will forget about it."

They just prefer saying whites are bad to offering decent healthcare, which would obviously benefit minorities, because Goldman ain't gonna stop paying you for sewing racial division or even for addressing the more superficial aspects of inequality. Powers that be don't give a shit if you give out a few more food stamps and demand more black sitcoms.

Of course, it's a bit hard to see this if you are so separated from reality that you think Obama and Clinton are Marxists.

Pence is legitimately insane.

Sasse is going to be pres at some point I think. His biggest hurdle might be his own primary because he is too intellectual. He has a coherent vision. He at least projects integrity. he really seems to care.

The big prob with the dems is as stated above. The party is meticulously aligned against anybody with a vision that has integrity because, being Marxists, they represent big business first. But their brand is to represent the masses. It is a contradiction that allows only for robotic weasels, who people can usually see through.

They need luck. Either a badly ailing trump campaign. Or a mega charismatic political wizard. The rock might be that at some point.
