CA needs to reduce some of their Regs (which are absolutely absurd), and lobby Congress for national Tariffs.....

Can someone just explain "CULTURAL MARXISM" to me? And how "feminism" and "hollywood" fits in? Something short and concise. I just don't get it.

Some of the most maddening I have had to deal with are with AQMDs, but after you get over the bullshit you realize how different and better our atmosphere here is now compared to the 60s and 70sZlaxer wrote:I'll dig some up for you after I get out of work.

ADA stuff comes to mind...I know makes me sound like a cold hearted bastard....but some of the requirements are over the top and stop people from initiating certain investments.....also a lot of the employment law items..hiring an employee should not be more complicated than filing for a mortgage.

Recently read an article about a law firm that uses drones to review all business that maintain swimming pools for use by customers (hotels, etc) and all restaurants/business that have steps, etc. for compliance with the ADA. Of course, only very large corporations can afford specialized installations to accommodate the ADA.Zlaxer wrote:ADA stuff comes to mind...I know makes me sound like a cold hearted bastard....but some of the requirements are over the top and stop people from initiating certain investments.....also a lot of the employment law items..hiring an employee should not be more complicated than filing for a mortgage.
Due to the incredibly relaxed standing threshold with the ADA, any disabled person can be the plaintiff in a lawsuit. So this firm uses the same disabled person as the plaintiff, serves a demand or lawsuit on all the small businesses in the area demanded X dollars, and they keep getting paid.
Seems legit.

There's what amounts to a patent troll disabled man who make a living off of suing the ADA. Its people like that who lead to the regulations we have to deal with.apeman wrote:Recently read an article about a law firm that uses drones to review all business that maintain swimming pools for use by customers (hotels, etc) and all restaurants/business that have steps, etc. for compliance with the ADA.
