Healthier food I am all for, but I don't think people are going to realize how much more this country is going to change on that alone. A shit ton of food we take for granted now will technically not be able to be sold in this country because of this.

I'm all for it, I grow my own stuff and cook from scratch when I can (which is almost always) but good lord... people are going to be in for a hell of a shock.

Yes, there are some things that we need to be careful to not be overzealous about. We need to recognize that this is going to take multiple terms to fully achieve our goals. What is most important is to get the right people in the right places to change the culture of our government to make these things stick long term. A good example of this is the work Trump did in his first term to turn our government against the CCP, even before the pandemic. Biden for the most part continued Trump's stance against China, even if in a less antagonistic way.

I'm more worried that 4 years won't be enough of a change, we would need to hold office for 8 to 12 years to effectively tear down the system that caused us to be sick

Jeffries is not impressed. These picks are looking pretty damn swampy actually.
Just a week following his landslide victory, Donald Trump has already made some choices to fill various positions in his new administration. I really hate to be so black pilled. I want to give him the benefit of the doubt, even with his long history of being Trumpenstein. But his selections so far leave very much to be desired.

For his Chief of Staff, Trump picked Susie Wiles, daughter of famed NFL play by play man Pat Summerall. Wiles was his presidential campaign’s co-manager. More significantly, she was a Big Pharma lobbyist whose clients profited from the COVID psyop, including Gilead, developer of the deadly Remdesivir. She once worked closely with GAVI, Bill Gates’ global vaccine outfit. She has been associated with all the right RINOs like Mitt Romney. Jeb Bush called it “a great choice,” so you know Trumpenstein is once again thumbing his nose at his loyal supporters. Trump calls her the “Ice Baby” for her ruthless style. And she’s the first female White House Chief of Staff, so the Giant Orange Man can claim some “Woke” points. That’s why people voted for him, isn’t it?

One wonders what RFK, Jr. thinks of this choice. After all, they are besties now, aren’t they? Talk about a slap in the face. At the same time, stories started appearing in the mainstream media, from anonymous sources in the Trump transition team, that they were “concerned” that Kennedy couldn’t pass a security background test. What with all that talk about Fauci and the government killing his uncle and father. It certainly looks like they’re prepared to freeze him out of the administration. Certainly no cabinet position, as Trump transition team staff lead Howard Lutnick has already said. Trump may throw him a small carrot, and give him some largely ceremonial role behind the scenes. He will have no power or influence. In my view, RFK, Jr.’s ten percent or so support probably was responsible for Trump’s larger than expected margin of victory. And if he complains, Trumpenstein will just throw him under the bus. He has a long history of doing that to former allies.

What about Tulsi Gabbard? Secretary of State? Secretary of Defense? I suspect that she, too, will not be given a position of importance in Trump’s White House. What must she think of Trumpenstein’s worst pick thus far, Florida Rep. Mike Waltz? Waltz is somewhat of a quieter, younger version of John Bolton. He is a diehard warmonger, that has criticized Joe Biden for not being more supportive of Ukraine. So who else could a candidate that has talked so often about ending the Russia-Ukraine war choose to advise him? Tulsi, RFK, Jr., and Vivek Ramaswamy must all be shocked and appalled by this selection. Well, maybe they’re all phony, too. The same anonymous source in Trump’s transition team brought up the bizarre bear in the park story involving RFK, Jr. I can’t begin to understand that, but at least no children were sex trafficked in the process. No horse semen was found in his stomach.

Speaking of horse semen, why didn’t Trump just drop all pretenses and name Tim Walz as his National Security Advisor? That wouldn’t make much less sense that naming Mike Waltz. Knowing Trumpenstein’s astounding lack of literacy, perhaps he meant to actually name Walz, as a gesture of conciliation, and simply mixed up the names. There’s only a one letter difference, after all. Maybe Trump wasn’t really joking when he suggested the RNC pay off Kamala Harris’s campaign debt, in a show of unity. It does sound like something Trumpenstein would do. I joked during his first administration that it was a wonder he didn’t name Hillary Clinton to his cabinet. Maybe he’ll do it this time. I hear she’s looking for work. While Trump criticized the Democrats for touting Dick Cheney’s support of Harris, Mike Waltz was a “counter- terrorism” adviser under then vice president Cheney.

But perhaps his most Trumpenstein-like selection thus far has been RINO extraordinaire Marco Rubio, for the coveted role of Secretary of State. You know, “Little Marco” from the 2016 campaign. I’m sure his base is devising new and more creative ways of explaining this kind of nonsense. 4D chess doesn’t quite fit at this point. Is QAnon still dropping information? What are they saying about all this? Isn’t it about time for JFK, Jr. to come out of hiding? Where are the White Hats? In the phantom zone with all the “White Supremacists?” Rubio contradicts everything about the MAGA movement. He embodies everything that Trump is supposed to be fighting. The swamp, if you will. By the way, when was the last time Trumpenstein talked about draining the swamp? He doesn’t even bother with that any more.

Trumpenstein chose Elise Stefanik as his U.N. Ambassador. Well, I suppose she’s better than Nikki Haley, his last U.N. Ambassador. That’s not saying much. Stefanik has ties to RINO Hall of Famers George W. Bush and Paul Ryan. But she did support Trump’s protest of the 2020 election, so I guess that’s something. Like all of his other choices, she is a fierce Zionist. For his Secretary of Homeland Security, Trump chose South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem. Noem was one of the more sensible governors during the unconstitutional lockdown, so this isn’t an awful choice. Not a favorite of animal rights’ activists, she memorably recounted how she had to shoot a dog that was “untrainable” in her autobiography. And she’s pretty hot for a politician. That is always of great importance to Donald Trump.

Like Noem, Tom Homan, Trump’s new border czar, talks a great game on immigration. He’s threatening to deport entire families. Still, Homan was director of ICE during the first two years of Trumpenstein I. I don’t remember mass deportations then. Trump also brought back Stephen Miller, perhaps the loudest voice for deportations during the Trumpenstein I era, as Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy. Other names being bandied about are nothing to get excited about. If you’re a MAGA loyalist, that is. As I’ve said repeatedly, Trump always snubs his supporters. He never follows through on his rhetoric, to give then what they want. Thomas Massie, by far the best member of Congress, has said he’s “ready and willing” to serve in the Trump administration. Rots of Ruck with that, as Scooby Doo might say. Adam Kinzinger, perhaps the RINOist of all RINOs, called the Rubio pick “a pretty good one.”

The fact that the likes of Jeb Bush and Adam Kinzinger support Trump’s atrocious choices, ought to tell you everything you need to know. What does his MAGA base think about his Trumpenstein-style selections? High profile MAGA figures like Charlie Kirk, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, and even Elon Musk, counseled caution, claiming that Rubio’s appointment wasn’t official. Unsurprisingly, RFK, Jr., Trump’s bestie, “expressed opposition” to Rubio having a major foreign policy role. Conservative comedian Dave Smith accurately described Rubio as “a disaster.” He went on to state, “Might as well give Liz Cheney the State Department. Awful sign.” An anonymous online wit wrote, “Rubio? Was Hillary unavailable?” I expect Trump cheerleader Alex Jones to attempt to justify the unjustifiable.

Trump’s former Director of National Intelligence Ric Grenell was actively lobbying for the post of Secretary of State. He was beaten out by Little Marco, despite having hosted fundraisers for the Log Cabin Republicans, a gay group that supposedly despises Trump. That sort of thing impresses Trumpenstein, who can’t stop himself from picking Never Trumpers for positions of influence. Melania Trump, by the way, was paid six figures to appear at their events. It’s an Abraham Lincoln thing, you wouldn’t understand. Trump, like all Republicans, worships Lincoln, an atheist who was responsible for much of the tyranny we see today in America 2.0, thanks to the precedents he set with his unconstitutional actions. The family of Lincoln’s law partner, William Herndon, fervently believes that he was Lincoln’s lover.

In a typical RINO move, ancient plutocrat Mitch McConnell is engineering a vote to replace him as Senate leader, with little forewarning. The three candidates for this pivotal position are two of the worst RINOs imaginable, John Cornyn and John Thune, along with tepid Trump supporter Rick Scott. Where is Rand Paul or Ron Johnson, one wonders? Our Republican “representatives” in the Senate are whining over constituents- you know, those who pay their undeservedly high salaries and whose interests they are supposed to be serving- trying to pressure them to vote for Scott, the best of the sorry lot. Naturally, Trump hasn’t endorsed Scott. This will be another perfect excuse for Trump not to do anything. “The RINOs were stacked against him- they have control of the Senate!” will be the hue and cry. Who keeps electing these awful RINOs, that keep promoting themselves perpetually as leaders?

Which brings up the point of how Trump remains a one man “revolution.” He has not dragged appreciable numbers of MAGA representatives with him into the halls of Congress. The hierarchy of his own party still largely opposes him. The Freedom Caucus is a small minority of Republicans. Will Trumpenstein choose Matt Gaetz or Chip Roy for anything? With the House Republicans continue to permit RINO turncoat Mike Johnson to remain as Speaker? Why not Jim Jordan? Johnson’s presence, along with a new McConnell-like leader in the Senate, ensures that, even if Trumpenstein goes through the motions of following up on his many promises (unlike last time), he will be not be successful. But what about Trump’s great Supreme Court majority? In reality, Amy Coney Barrett votes against him consistently. Cavanaugh is no sure thing. Only Gorsuch has been decent. Some accomplishment.

That is assuming the Republicans keep control of the House. They are still counting votes in several congressional races out west. They can’t be rushed out there. Those old comedians weren’t kidding about the slow pace in California. Despite all our technological advances, these states somehow take days to count votes. How is such a thing possible? It was a faster process in the 1800s. Several races are shockingly close. Does anyone trust those in charge of the voting process? In the Senate, poor Keri Lake looks like she’s going to get screwed again. Maybe Trumpenstein will take pity on her and give her some kind of post. She’s pretty attractive, after all. If the House remains in the control of the Democrats, then no further excuse for Trumpenstein is needed. “They cheated him out of the House! What do you want him to do?”

So you’re probably saying, okay, Mr. Big Shot community college dropout, Mr. tucked your shirt in when no one else did, who would you pick for your cabinet? Well, I certainly wouldn’t pick Marco Rubio for dog catcher, let alone the crucial post of Secretary of State. Why not RFK, Jr. for Attorney General? Like his father? Tulsi Gabbard as Secretary of Defense. Rand Paul or Vivek Ramaswamy as Secretary of State. If Ron Paul is up to it, have him oversee the auditing and eventual abolition of the Federal Reserve. Thomas Massie would be great anywhere. Matt Gaetz or Chip Roy would be better than all of Trumpenstein’s choices. Where is Donald Trump, Jr.? Why isn’t he advising his father, instead of odious son-in-law Jared Kushner again? Trump, Jr. trotted out the idea of Alex Jones for Press Secretary. Just imagine either Alex or Marjorie Taylor Greene in that position. Talk about entertainment!

If you’re really an outsider, there ought to be some evidence of that in the choices of those you surround yourself with. Roger Stone has been unceasingly loyal to Trump. He is presently trying to excuse Trumpenstein’s choice of Susie Wiles, claiming that she was never really a Big Pharma lobbyist. I can’t wait to hear his excuse for Marco Rubio. Maybe Rubio isn’t really a RINO. He just plays one on C-SPAN. What does it say to your new bestie RFK, Jr., when you choose a Phizer lobbyist as your Chief of Staff? I’m pretty sure he’s getting the message. So is Tulsi, I imagine. Vivek may have a chance at some ethnic post. Ambassador to India? Trump’s seeming support for free speech will be appreciated by his U.N. Ambassador Elise Stefanik, who has led the charge to suppress pro-Palestinian students on college campuses.

Nothing would please me more than to be wrong about all this. I’d love for Donald Trump to deport the millions who entered our country illegally, and whose presence has dramatically lowered the wages of those who can least afford it, as well as helped in the corporate quest to eliminate once common employee benefits. I’d cheer louder than anyone if he really rebuilt our Third World infrastructure. As a Social Security recipient, I certainly would applaud an end to the double tax we pay on this money that we paid into the system. I want him to end the forever wars and bring the troops home. I’m rooting for him. I would love to write a positive column about him, extolling his accomplishments. But how am I supposed to be optimistic, given these ridiculously bad choices? I thought RFK, Jr. joining the campaign was the best thing to happen to Trump. I guess he didn’t think so.

So we are supposed to believe that Donald Trump is going to remove the fluoride from the national water supply. And possibly abolish the income tax. End the war between Russia and Ukraine. Establish a presidential commission to investigate assassinations. Set up a Department of Declassification. Have Elon Musk oversee government efficiency. And Trump will be able to pardon Assange and Snowden now. Tucker Carlson and others have assured us that Trump was ready to pardon them last time, but dastardly Mitch McConnell threatened him with an impeachment conviction if he did. Well, with McConnell gone, and no threat of a third impeachment, it should be clear sailing. Happy Days are here again! Marco Rubio and the other RINOs around Trump will oversee the reforms. There’s a battle between Trump and Trumpenstein. Trumpenstein is clearly winning.

We don’t know what was said beforehand? Some of our people would never be confirmed so the deal could be, “You get the position but it has to be in accordance with our goals.”

Very high chance that nothing actually changes.
