Been on a long email chain with Monte about this one. He said I could post his contrary views on the story here since he's banned, so I'll do my best to paraphrase his rather involved and complex observations:

I'm sure he would agree that is a succinct and fair assessment of his position. And of course, if he doesn't find it to be he's free to state otherwise. Just ... you know ... quote the post and tell me where I'm wrong.

Is Monte still debating behind the scenes?! Jesus, I thought he'd just find someplace that was more to his liking; like everywhere. This is one of the last holdouts that liberty people can still post. It's against my better judgment but I'll unban Monte and see how long I can take it...
