It's embarrassing how long I believed in the lie that the was a "silent majority." There probably is, but it's on the other side.

See, I disagree with that point. I just think the silent majority has to face real consequences outside of facebook and twitter bans in order to mobilize. Right now, the majority of the reaction is being undertaken by Boomerwaffen, but younger people en masse will eventually find themselves in a position to push back.

Before the capitol breach, I was under the impression that people were too comfortable to fight. Now, I don't believe that any more. People just need to be sufficiently motivated.

This is why I think the punitive response against Trump and his supporters will embolden people.

I agree with you. I guess it's a regional thing. Here in the Deep South, the worse we have are in college towns or are over 50. I've got a friend who is in his 60s who is ready to go to war over this stuff. The majority of people here aren't bending the knee, or wearing the mask.

Ohio is still holding strong. Going along and getting along, but quietly resisting the insanity.
