Who you calling Yankee, motherfucker? My ancestors actually fought for the South. Your ancestors stabbed the south in the back and invaded Tennessee.kybkh wrote: ↑Mon Jan 07, 2019 1:33 pmI won't abide such slander from a Yankee.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Mon Jan 07, 2019 1:30 pmWe could just compromise on euthanizing Kentucky.
It's either Kentucky or Alabama, and Alabama at least has decent BBQ.

Charleston SC imo is a beautiful city. Low cost of living, historic sites, great food (great as fuck seafood) and nearby beaches. Pretty hard to beat that. North Carolina is not short on amazing scenery and great camping/hiking opportunities. I went to Kentucky once. I got COPD as soon as we crossed the state line, and hepatitis A-Z just from drinking their water (which also suffers from sulphur contamination and downstream AIDS from Ohio). Polluted air and water makes their residents suffer from mental illness and increased homosexuality.

Literally just got done listening to a Vanderbilt Prof talk about how Tar Heels single handily cost the CSA the war by dying too easy. Even in victories their causlty rates were skyrocketed.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Mon Jan 07, 2019 6:10 pmit remained a divided state throughout the war, with the western mountain people retaining much Union sentiment
Just to be straight, Lexington KY had one of the biggest slave trades inland. One which Abe Lincoln’s father-in-law frequented often.

My ancestors were South Carolinians. In that famous illustration of the artillery assault on Ft. Sumter.. where you see the figures of some hotheads kicking off a terrible civil war.. yeah. That was us.
