Pretty much all governance involves a divide and conquer strategy, it seems.

Trump is actually retarded in his own way but probably a genius while being so at the same time. A rolling stone interview summed it up best way back on the primary trail. He constantly defers judgement to everyone that seems to have some kind of experience then just makes up his own mind on the fly. He is a very ad hoc kind of leader which is actually quite good in its own way. It makes him seem like an ADHD riddled Alzheimer's patient on the other. He deferred judgement to the generals of the MIC that are nothing if not political animals because in his mind they were the "experts" and "patriotic heroes" that the US needs to defer to on some things. It is perhaps not a fault of his own ego that he surrounded himself with them so much as an error of judgement in assuming the best of everyone.kybkh wrote: ↑Wed Jan 02, 2019 1:27 pmFirst it was why does Trump have so many MIC folks in cabinet? is he going to be a dictator??
Then it was MIC folks keep Trump's finger off the button.
Now, MIC folks were only ones ensuring America's pursuit of ever-lasting hegemony. (even though we surrendered that in '54)
Russia-gate is meant to contain a non-MIC foreign policy.
Trump's cabinet has tried to contain DJT's non-MIC foreign policy.
Of course, once DJT followed through with his campaign promise to pull out of the Levant his handlers resign and Mitt opens fire.
Why the pivot?? My guess is Trump's internet gurus have identified the anti-war, anti-fed, independents and Libertarians as the only pool of voters which he can grow his base from.
All of you retards assuming the best of African Americans in order to pull the Republican vote across the finish line are just as delusional.

Any form of democracy is like that, especially representative democracies where dividing demographics gets a single representative elected to represent everybody.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Wed Jan 02, 2019 3:57 pmPretty much all governance involves a divide and conquer strategy, it seems.
Democracy is inherently divisive. Even if you think democracy is "the least worst form of government" you have to admit that.

I’m starting to understand why the alt-right favors dictators, indeed.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Wed Jan 02, 2019 5:02 pmAny form of democracy is like that, especially representative democracies where dividing demographics gets a single representative elected to represent everybody.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Wed Jan 02, 2019 3:57 pmPretty much all governance involves a divide and conquer strategy, it seems.

I am not sure they want dictators. They are all over the place. I have not listened to any of them in many months, but most really don't talk about dictators.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Wed Jan 02, 2019 6:15 pmI’m starting to understand why the alt-right favors dictators, indeed.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Wed Jan 02, 2019 5:02 pmAny form of democracy is like that, especially representative democracies where dividing demographics gets a single representative elected to represent everybody.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Wed Jan 02, 2019 3:57 pmPretty much all governance involves a divide and conquer strategy, it seems.

It is human nature to desire leaders. None of us were fooled when Trump went on stage and declared he would "take those slings and arrows" for us. But it felt really good to have someone pay lip service to us.

If you think about Blacks and the whole gentrification meme, it’s the same thing Whites are saying about the USA as a whole.
Blacks are mad cause people immigrating to their hoods. They can’t build a wall so they call it gentrification and say racism.
