Indeed, that is how the liberals (progressives, neocons, libertarians) fake everybody into a false narrative. The economic bullshit is not nearly as important as they play it up. They are all just different flavors of the same failed idea (neo-liberalism).

When they bitch about the "extremes", they really mean by extreme anybody not operating under the neoliberal agenda, which these days are mostly Marxists and various forms of the real right.

The basic tactic is for them to make huge issue out of minor differences between themselves and then attempt to cast anybody not on the neoliberal agenda as too extreme or not acceptable to even discuss. It's bullshit that no longer works.

The idea of a "middle" is fucking dumb. There is no middle between enemies. Engage or go home.

That's certainly the next phase - a violent snapback. But integration is inevitable. The infrastructure of the world is completely global at this point. There are no self-sufficient nations any more.
