I don't support sticky tables, but I support their right to exist for people who love getting their arm stuck to a table covered in maple syrup.
I would sit in a puddle of syrup to eat that food.
So many drunken mornings spent recovering there, priceless memories. For some goddamn reason, there is not a single
Waffle House between Toledo and PA. Some kind of Cracker Barrel mafia embargo maybe. I emplore all good and decent people to make me a fucking Waffle House in this state.

I drive by that Waffle House about every week or two, when I'm heading over to see a friend of mine. I'm pretty sure it was full of kids just getting out of a club at 3am on Sunday morning. Everybody was juiced up and that precluded anybody carrying to simply have shot this fucker on the spot. Thankfully the guy who tackled him *was* on the spot.
BTW, I'm hearing around the office that they finally caught the guy just a few minutes ago; in spite of all the help being given by the FBI.
Obviously, we need some new gun laws, 'n shit.
Does the shooter self identify as a yankee?

We stopped at one right before the Alabama line on our way home from Georgia last weekend, and the place was spick and span.
Also, spick and span etymology,
From spick-and-span-new (literally “new as a recently made spike and chip of wood”) (1570s), from spick (“nail”, variant of spike) + Middle English span-new (“very new”) (from circa 1300 until 1800s), from Old Norse span-nyr, from spann (“chip”) (cognate to Old English spón, Modern English spoon, due to old spoons being made of wood) + nyr (“new”) (cognate to Old English nīwe, Modern English new).[1] Imitation of Dutch spiksplinter nieuw (literally “spike-splinter new”)[2], for a freshly built ship. Observe that fresh woodchips are firm and light (if from light wood), but decay and darken rapidly, hence the origin of the term.

There’s a pretty wide variance in Waffle House cleanliness. I’m not sure that I’ve seen a pattern to it, but some are just run better than others.
Had a sticky table in Kentucky and Florida, spotless in Georgia. Probably better in the Deep South than other areas.

Basically tracks inversely with population density.

There should be titles for these kind of people. Something like knighthood, where you get certain privileges. Like the governors of any state would need to give him their bed, and make breakfast for him, if he ever visited. And an open door to the White House whenever they want to chill out there. A yearly celebration for all heroes, people get the day off, to throw a party for them. Criminal record erased, if they have any. Maybe a unique title to their name, so they'll have an advantage in job interviews. Make them the Earl of whatever place they come from.
I think western society focus way too much on the scumbags, and too little on the truly good people around us. And this guy deserves recognition, and not just be forgotten in a few days.

The Texas cheese steak melt is the only thing there worth eating.
Oh and hash browns

It’s hard to fuck up toast.
All breakfast joints have pretty decent toast.
