That being said there is a proliferation of promiscuity among homosexuals that is very much glorified in the "gay pride" events and among the culture in general.
Promiscuity among heterosexuals is also a thing in our culture that is also glorified... but not quite to the same extent.
And liberals are complicit in this culture on both sides of the sexual orientation spectrum... which is the main reason conservatives balk at sex-ed delivered by liberals.
Conservatives hold traditional values in their camp... and as far as risks of disease and mental health issues... conservatism has the upper hand here. Although their shame and denial tactics are not necessarily effective... especially for those alienated from conservative communities.
