I certainly see a continuum of the mind-sets of antifa and the alt-right. Cut from the same cloth. That's the duality of malcontent idealist types. A cynic is merely a frustrated romantic, a fascist is merely a frustrated socialist.

And what the hell is with ethno-nationalists being vegans? Israel is one of the most vegan countries. Tara Mccarthy is a vegan, this guy started as one, it's interesting but I'm not seeing the connection.

How'd they square their equal obsession with genetics and other engineering programs both military and commercial? Doesn't seem to match well with so called environmentalism or hippie shit...Seems more futuristic and steam punkish.

The future was environmentalism, both the Nazis and the Bolsheviks were futurists, the Nazis were the enviro-hippie futurists, the Bolsheviks were the industrial techno-futurists.

The Nazi post scarcity utopia was a utopia of small communities distributed through the pristine countryside with no cities except for the capital Germania, the Bolshevik post scarcity utopia was everybody living in futuristic cities with only a skeleton crew manning the countryside.

The Nazis wanted to escape the oppressive confinement of the cities, the Bolsheviks wanted to escape the oppressive drudgery of the fields, both embraced science as a means to an end, but the ends were very different ideas of utopia.
