If this happens, I am going to be doing a happy dance all the way to the sheriff's office to get my license renewed!

10 non-cucks in the entire GOP house. Ten!

Here’s The List: Just 10 Republicans Vote Against Feinstein Gun Control
(Washington, DC) — Moments ago, the U.S. Congress agreed to combine H.R. 38, National Reciprocity, with H.R. 4477, Feinstein’s “NICS FIX” Gun Database expansion.

Despite calls from multiple “no compromise” Second Amendment organizations, only 10 Republicans in the House stood up for gun owners in voting to oppose the combining of Feinstein’s bill into National Reciprocity.

The 10 Republicans who stood up for the Second Amendment are:

Justin Amash (R-MI)

Andy Biggs (R-AZ)

John Duncan (R-TN)

Louie Gohmert (R-TX)

Paul Gosar (R-AZ)

Walter Jones (R-NC)

Jim Jordan (R-OH)

Steve King (R-IA)

Thomas Massie (R-KY)

Scott Perry (R-PA)

The bill will now move on to a vote for final passage in the House.

Then it will get over to the U.S. Senate, where things could get even worse.

Anti-gunners Feinstein, Schumer, and Chris Murphy are doing everything in their power to pass a stand along “NICS FIX” bill and trash national reciprocity all together.

Word on Capitol Hill is that Republicans do not have the votes in the Senate for passage of National Reciprocity, so owners should be aware and ready to take action if the swamp monsters attempt to ram a “bipartisan” gun bill through that’s even worse than the combined bill in the House.

Fuck the GOP with a pogo stick.

Seriously, straight up their arse.

Hooray, concealed carry reciprocity? Not so fast
The real reason is that they want to pass a parallel gun-control bill. Rather than promoting the need for self-defense, Republicans echo the Democrat messaging that mass shootings should mean more federal laws. No, they have no interest in finding out what really happened in Las Vegas, they just know that we must push gun control. To that end, they agreed to pass a bill (H.R. 4477) out of committee that strengthens the already broken NICS (National Instant Criminal Background Check System). NICS is already violating the civil rights of veterans. Then GOP leaders attached that provision to the reciprocal carry bill, which passed Wednesday. The strengthened bill would incentivize states to enter more data into the system. This is why several conservatives voted against it.

[snip]

This is exactly what Obama did with the Social Security Administration and the VA, among other agencies. His action was empowered by a NICS expansion passed at the end of Bush’s presidency, following the Virginia Tech shooting. In the final weeks of Obama’s presidency, he directed the Social Security Administration to monitor all seniors whose finances are managed by a representative payee, essentially deem them mentally incapable of owning a gun, and report their names to NICS. Victims of this government assault could only challenge their designation after being placed on the list.

Republicans were universally outraged over this last-minute decision, as well as some non-conservative disability groups, such as the National Council on Disability. The ACLU lambasted the rule as well. In February of this year, the House and Senate used the Congressional Review Act to nullify the regulation.

But here’s the problem: While the House passed legislation (H.R. 1181) to prevent the VA from doing what the SSA did, the Senate has not agreed to pass this yet. Furthermore, this entire Obama-era violation of civil rights was born out of the 2007 NICS bill that was passed by voice vote.

Guess who championed that Obama-enabling measure as a pro-gun bill when it passed? The NRA.

[snip]

In short, this bill will pressure federal agencies and states to place as many names as possible on the list.

Folks, this is just a glimpse into the dishonesty of the GOP and its allies: the enablers of the Left.

On that list of 10 is Jimmy Duncan from Knoxvegas. You'd dig him the most: https://tomwoods.com/ep-1044-gop-congre ... on-budget/

One has to look long and hard to find a non-asshole in D.C.

Eat a bag of dicks, GOP. Eat a bag of dicks, NRA.

NRA-Republican Backed Bill Makes it Easier for Feds to Disarm Citizens
During the legislative process, the NRA supported merging the bill aimed at nationalizing concealed carry permits with another piece of legislation aimed at “fixing” the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS.) Obviously this legislation was inspired by the failure of the US Air Force to report the criminal record of Devin Kelley, who went on to commit a horrific shooting in Sutherland Springs, Texas. While the motivation to do something after this atrocity is entirely natural, unfortunately this bill is simply another example of the Federal government using its own failure to justify expanding its own power.

After all, the “Fix NICS” bill doesn’t seek to punish the US Air Force for its failure to properly process paperwork. Instead, it provides $760 million in additional funding for the Department of Justice to establish new guidelines to ensure compliance among Federal agencies. That funding can also be used “to ensure maximum coordination” between State government and Indian tribes with the NICS.

While the idea of bolstering the already existing Federal gun registry may strike some as relatively benign, it’s important to understand how it has been used in the past.

[snip]

Further, if one needed an example of how dangerous it is to centralize gun legislation in Washington DC, look no further to what gun owners in states like Ohio and Hawaii are currently facing. Both states, having recently legalized the use of medical marijuana, have placed those who need it with the choice of either owning a gun or receiving life-improving medicine.
