Out of curiosity, what would it take for you to tune back into the MSM, and at least hear them out? Is there any sort of mea culpa that would satisfy and indicate that they were turning things around? Or will the NYT, et al, always and forevermore be ‘bitches’?

Credibility is one of those things that's hard to establish, and really hard to recover. I think different management and a large turnover of reporting staff might help the image (assuming the message changed commensurately), but some people will never warm up.

That would require a change in ownership.

I do not have to hear them out. Others do far better commentary. If they would increase their investigative journalism budget and they would be fair minded i would check it out. Also admit already who won the culture wars, do not go authoritarian and shoot the survivors. Straight up make freedom of association the norm. Stop pumping out articles about imaginary white lameness.

I don't have any reason to listen, other than for economic/international headlines. I usually get those on NPR or Bloomberg, driving to work. ZeroHedge works pretty well, for a headline feed, as well. Obviously, they're panic monkeys, but a Google search will usually clear things up.

I have absolutely no interest in watching someone read the news to me for hours.

I walked in on a talk between my great aunt and my cousin about Hillary.

"I have a security clearance. My wife has a security clearance. Grandmama had a security clearance. We all worked in or with intelligence. We all know we would be in prison if we did what she did. Now, I wasn't here last year, but all of this should have been done last year."

That was the end of it.

Some honesty would go a long way. Just admit thier biases. They gonna be political hacks just admit it.
