Funniest thing I've heard from you in a while.

It really wasn't a terrible show. But those of us that know him the best and understand his prejudices are often turned off.

The most glaring thing that came through is this feeling that Trump supporters are stupid, redneck, KKK, Nazi's, but it does no good to punch them.

I'm not sure why he doesn't get the Silent Majority voted, and they voted for Trump. It's pretty damn obvious. Biggest upset in US History, how the fuck can a fan of history with a history degree miss that ?

I know he hates Trump, and doesn't get Trump voters, but it boggles me how a smart guy like Dan can't see that.

And now finally for the first time I've heard him acknowledge that internet comments can be fabricated by shills and foreign agents. Well gee, Dan, maybe America aint so angry after all? Then I really started watching. Dan would reminisce glowlingly about the days when we had 3 networks and Walter Cronkite would tell you what to think....................... stuff like that.

Dan is kind of locked in his own world. I don't get, that Dan doesn't get, that the early adapters to his podcast, doesn't like the full on establishment Carlin we are seeing now.

You're right, Smitty called it. I believe the phrase he and DB used was "Dan tending his flock."

At the time I thought it was a bit harsh, but Dan's slip-ups have gotten more and more flagrant, as you alluded to.

When Dan abandons his defense of basic Constitutional Rights, I will abandon him. I do believe Dan is pretty solid in that area, but he has shown some wavering.

Dan keeps projecting his own view of Trump on the rest of America, he thinks that a lot of folks share his views on politics and they constitute the silent majority. Folks on this forum do it all the time from a different angle, many of you guys seem to think the silent majority voted for Trump for the exact same reasons that you did, but that actually isn't the case, you are a fringe minority just like Dan, and America doesn't think like you do.

I'm used to it at this point, but a lot of you shouldn't be pointing fingers at Dan for projecting on the silent majority, without looking in the mirror first.
