And the whole thing is to just push the "Trump is racist/white supremacist storyline"
No man's life, liberty, or property are safe while the legislature is in session

General Kelly, there is no “compromise” regarding slavery. Ever. And, the Constitution’s original 3/5ths Compromise was an abomination.

Re: Robert E. Lee Was An Honorable Man
Robert E. Lee opposed the construction of Confederate monuments which is far worse than anything that happened to those Columbus statues. He also was one of the pioneers of Critical Race Theory when president at Washington and Lee University in Lexington. Good man? Not by a long shot. He was the original Reconstruction era SJW. Not to mention, he did not file the proper maintenance paper work for those Civil War cannons. I would be very surprised if he filed the proper permits for those tents at the Battle of Gettysburg either. Its up to the park service to maintain those historic sites, and Civil War battles leave lots of litter on the ground that rangers and volunteers have to pick up. If civil war re-enactors have to file permits to relive the battles, there's no reason why generals should be exempt. Hey Lee? Did you ever think that someone else might want to use that park? Truly sickening.

Not only that, but where the heck was OSHA and the EPA? I mean they were leaving lead all over the place, that shits toxic, and talk about a hazardous workplace environment! It's all the government's fault, they should've shut it all down.heydaralon wrote:Robert E. Not to mention the shoddy medical work, amputations without anesthesia, horrible unsanitary conditions... those doctors should've lost their medical licenses.

Don't even get me started on the lack of representation of people of color in the generals of the Union and Confederacy...Ph64 wrote:Not only that, but where the heck was OSHA and the EPA? Lee was an honorable man.
Using one's extreme talents in a manner that almost allowed slavery to persist for another 100 years though, does not make one a good man.

Not so sure there's much hindsight to it. Plenty of folks knew slavery was evil in 1861...Fife wrote:Hindsight's 20/20, eh?
