Of course if you look at worldwide population just about everyone in the US is probably in the upper 20% income-wise.

Everyone is socialist when they’re young because it makes sense. When you’re out on your own for the first time, working shitty jobs, having shitty prospects, living in shitty neighborhoods, nothing sounds better than the government raising your quality of life with programs and tax money.

This is because you’re still basically a child. Because you’re used to having your parents carry a lot of the load for you. The government makes a great surrogate parent to fill your fridge, help you with your rent, and make life as comfortable for you as it was when you didn’t have to do shit.

I don’t blame anyone on their 20s who looks at socialism and thinks it would be a better deal for them - it probably would be.

Anyone over 30 who embraces socialism is a loser or a fool, strong probability of both.
