Well . . . to play devil's advocate for a minute, the entire "problem" is framed so that it doesn't actually make sense for whites to ask to be included.
Quick refresher, we start with the premise that power is clearly related to demographics, and that white males have all (or a disproportionate amount of) the power.
Now, in order to be the heroes, we badger "the system" about this and demand that women and non-whites are "included" in the positions of power.
White dude says "I want to be included to".
IMPOSSIBLE.
Right?
You can't be "included" because, see tenet #1, white males already have the entire power pie. All you can do is include others and take less for yourself.
See?
Behold the power of controlling the narrative.
Heterosexual, white men with jobs 'aren't included in anything

Would be more compelling if you would add wealth there. Rich white males do have a lot of power, actually.DBTrek wrote:You can't be "included" because, see tenet #1, white males already have the entire power pie. All you can do is include others and take less for yourself.

Rich everybody has a lot of power.ssu wrote:Would be more compelling if you would add wealth there. Rich white males do have a lot of power, actually.
You can certainly single out *only* rich white males, but then you lose the ability to shoehorn the rest of white maledom into the "oppressor" category - and remember, this is all about leveraging power through demographics.
Nah.
Your suggestion only serves to weaken the narrative.
Bad idea

It also doesn't help when your poster Emmanuel Goldsteins are advocating the same bullshit you are in the first place.DBTrek wrote:Rich everybody has a lot of power.ssu wrote:Would be more compelling if you would add wealth there. Rich white males do have a lot of power, actually.
