There's no requirement for an Alternative Left, the Left has not changed its stance since the French Revolution, the Right however, embraced Classical Liberalism and the Enlightenment since the Glorious Revoltution of 1688, further entrenched by subsequent American Revolution.

The Alternative Right are simply those on the Right which now reject Classical Liberalism and harken back to the pre-Enlightenment West, in essence, back to the House of Bourbon and the Divine Right of Kings as christened by the Pope in Rome, so really, the Alt-Right, is simply ye Olde Right.

That might describe somebody like me, or maybe Nergol, but I don't think it describes the alt-right very well. They like Enlightenment ideas just fine. They might even go so far as to label the muliticult as something like post-Enlightenment where they want to get back to Enlightenment society.

You and Nergol are the only ones I would acknowledge as being Alt-Right, most of those claiming to be Alt-Right, are really not, they're just rocking the title, without following the program.

Nergol might have sympathy for those people, as fellow travellers, but he would dismiss them as being dilettantes otherwise. Nergol follows the No Enemies on the Right principle, but that doesn't mean he suffers fools gladly.

The Alt-Right position is that the Enlightenment is dead, and the only way to save it, is to go back and start over, and that's not going to be achieved, by voting, or protesting, or any of that, you basically just have to allow the current structure to collapse under its own weight, otherwise known as "it has to get much worse before it could get better".

Just another doomsday cult really, "burn the village to save the village", but whatevs; no enemies on the Right.

The Alt-Right seems to be deeply inspired by Plato's Republic, wherein there were the Five Regimes, and in the regime of Democracy, it inevitably led to degeneracy and disorder, to the point where any right thinking and decent people would be clambering for an authoritarian to take control in order to protect them from the mob.

But you see, this authoritarian impulse is not meant to bring down the republic, because they believe the republic is already dead, sort of zombie republic walking, lurching towards the Collapse as Marty would call it.

In Plato's Republic, Democracy leads to becoming consumed with fulfilling "unecessary desires", and in doing so, the people lose their compass, they become degenerate and society has no priorities nor ends to justify the means, and this leads to anarchy, there's no discipline and so it's chaos, which then leads to the clambering for order at any cost.

Basically, all republics go through the cycle, starting with the only just condition, which is aristocracy, and then degerates down through the four unjust conditions, timocracy, oligarchy, democracy, and tyranny.

Now, the thing is, the aristrocrats are the only just rulers, which I gather in America is like the white people who used to run America right, and the tyranny, is not so much a dictator, it's more the tyranny of a mob, sort of like the Democrats and a bunch o' Mexicans, and so I gather at some point, after the Collapse, the Alt Right restarts everything? Back to the aristocracy of white people who ran shit right?

Something like that, whatever, like I said, it's a doomsday cult, you get the picture; you burn the village to save the village and then you build a fortified hamlet for the white people, sort of like William Westmoreland in Vietnam.

Anyways, this is why you need to get those AR15's and move out of the cities, then once all the Democrats and Immigrants have wiped each other out, you're back to the New Jerusalem, praise the Lord.
