The shadow is a long way away from you.

Those of us in the shadow are super lucky.
Lucky enough to be

Say hello to the night!

Yeah, one thing about living in WNC I never could stomach -- all the Goddamn vampires.

I'll have my priest bless a filled super-soaker before I head out.

I prefer this song from that movie, mainly due to the large buff man playing saxophone

Also, get woke

Anyone else here seen one before? I Saw one in 1999 in Reims France on the way down to my first European juggling convention in Grenoble.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

I've never seen one. I've only been able to look at a partial through a welding mask

I saw it, caused some really funky things to happen around here when it came around, saw all kinds of weather including hail and snow, sleet, rain in a 10 minute on one side of the street.

I saw the annular eclipse in 1984. But it didn't cover the whole thing up.

North America has not had a total eclipse in about a century.

Edit: 99 years. Last time a total eclipse cross most of CONUS was in 1918.

Next total eclipse is in 2024.

You never know. Sometimes I feel like a lot of us will live quite a lot longer than we expect. Halting age isn't all that crazy any idea any longer. Not sure about reversing it, though.
