It may well have been the norm - I really don't know. It's pretty destructive to our global policy tho. :shrug:

Compared to China, a single party system, yeah you guys change your mind pretty often. Single party systems have plenty of political issues that multi-party systems don't have, but they are certainly less schizo than your duopoly. The world is used to it, I wouldn't be too worried about it, it's already built into the cake. Obama's pissing contest just draws more attention to this dynamic than you are used to is all, he's simply adding frosting though, it's not a big deal.

Im not an Obama fan, but where is the evidence for this deep state collusion? Bill Clinton has made a small fortune giving talks speaking to foreign audiences. Nixon did as well. I think every ex president does speaking engagements around the world. Its a questionable practice, but I dont think it proves some kind of conspiracy with the CIA NSA etc

He's the ex-president, lots of people want to hear what he has to say. Every succesful former leader does it and many poor leaders too. Tony Blair has earned a fortune giving speeches since leaving office. Obama's probably the highest paid ever but apart from that it is normal.

I don't feel it's some terrible thing, but the idea seems to be that he is trying to counteract Trump with addresses to foreign leaders; more targeted perhaps than others before him.

Sure presidents speak after they are out of office. But they don't travel around speaking to world leaders on policy in close proximity to the actual POTUS.

Presidents have always shad an unwritten rule to generally be quiet and let the new guy govern. Not for Barry.

Citizen journalists have accused Obama of attempting to run a shadow government and maintain control of the direction of the country. I don't know if it goes that deep, but he's definitely breaking with centuries of US tradition for former US Presidents.

The American Tradition has been that when you leave office you quietly allow the new president to run the country and keep your opinions to yourself, and mostly stay out of politics............... Not Obama.

Obama’s minions have positioned themselves throughout the media. James Clapper and John Brennan are almost daily presences on CNN and MSNBC. There is Susan Rice at Netflix, Ben Rhodes at NBC, Valerie Jarrett as a free-floater who works behind the scenes and soon, Barry himself will be a regular on Netflix. It’s a propaganda campaign being waged to condition Americans that what they are seeing is normal rather than something dangerous, radical and a threat to the Republic.
