Re: Trump takes the fight to ISIS
Diplomacy with ISIS is a bullet to the brainpan and a kick in the ass as the rest run away. Show them no quarter, show them no mercy, and show them why it's a bad idea to piss us off... especially when someone who is in charge not afraid to take a swing at them.

Who said it was Diplomacy with ISIS. A couple of things to note here. This whole Obama-Clinton thing that the mission needs to revolve around Assad going away is not mentioned. Yet we now have troops in Syria with no issues from the Assad Government. So, how did that happen, Diplomacy.
Second. Trump stuck to his word, no press conferences, no prior revealing plans, all of a sudden our troops just show up on a mission. Good for him.

There was diplomacy, but there was also I have a feeling a bit of surprise when this happened too. More like, "Just some heads up, we are heading over." As the troops were already on the ground.C-Mag wrote:The Conservative wrote:Diplomacy with ISIS is a bullet to the brainpan and a kick in the ass as the rest run away. Here's a nice little surprise, check out this quote.

And the RT Report

So, looks like we don't have a problem with the ME Strongman anymore. Just going to kill the international threat. What a change. Just a little over a month ago we were demanding Regime Change.“The strategy adopted by the Coalition remains the same – we will continue to work by, with and through partnered forces to defeat Isis in Iraq and Syria,” he added.
“Our partners in Syria face an entrenched foe and like the Iraqis, will require additional support.”
Col John Dorrian, a spokesperson for Operation Inherent Resolve, said the artillery unit and additional Army Rangers had arrived in recent days but would not have a frontline role.

Well, if we can get them to line up and do battle, that will help. Otherwise, I can assure you that most of them are busy stashing their weapons and melting into the communities. This should work totally different than the other times though, because Trump.
As an alternative, we could just destroy the cities themselves, I guess, fuck everybody that was suffering there already?

Again, not assured this will work any better than it did under Trump than it did for the last 30 years. We may not want to admit we are in a war with Political Islam, but they are clearly at war with us. Ergo, we are at war or we just surrender and roll out the prayer mats, and help haul all the fags to the tallest building.GrumpyCatFace wrote:Well, if we can get them to line up and do battle, that will help. The changes Trump has made that I do appreciate.
1. He appears to be letting the Military carry out the Commanders End State without Micro-managing how to get there
2. He has changed the ROE (Rules of Engagement) to allow on the ground commanders to have the kind of control they need
3. He is no longer apologizing for being American in the Middle East. IMO, this will lead to more respect in the long run. When we shrink from who we are we look like cucks. Part of this is proudly flying our colors.
4. I don't think Trump has any desire to do any Nation Building. We are just there to kill bad guys and break things, that's what the military is good at.
5. I believe the Mattis Philosophy will be carried out. Be Nice, Be Polite, have a plan to kill everyone you meet.
6. Trump is willing to meet force with force. Calling in 155 howitzer batteries is no joke.

1 - If the United States were at war with Islam, we would be outnumbered 4-1, and riddled with terrorism in every city, every day.C-Mag wrote:Again, not assured this will work any better than it did under Trump than it did for the last 30 years. 2 - roll the prayer mats out in the Middle East? Who gives a fuck? Or are you imagining that not re-re-re-reinvading them somehow invokes a Sharia Law clause in our Constitution?
So we're doing the same shit, with better tactics. And it was no joke using marine battalions all these years, and bombing the holy hell out of stuff either. The changes Trump has made that I do appreciate.

I'm not guaranteeing a fail, but I can guarantee that we don't "win" the Middle East with this.

Do you even understand the difference between all Muslims and Political Islam ? Or are you just trying to change the argument?
Which one, are you just ignorant, or purposefully attempting to change the argument ?
