He writes a ton of good political articles and goes on podcasts fairly regularly. He's very intellectually honest.

People don't seem to understand how perversity works: all the haters hate so much that they'd harm their own interests just to see the people they resent harmed too; that's the world we live in now; all you can do is hide.

you can't hold back the ocean with your fists
can't save the world

but the messiah complex is a helluva drug

and the road to disappointment is paved with it

save yourself then save another

clean your room, as Jordan Peterson would say

can't be all things to all people

and attempting to be so is counter-productive

that's what he says to sad single Millennials who live in a one room apartment

I got a fully detached luxury home and wife to clean it for me, but thanks anyways, Jordan

indeed

if you got the wife and the fully detached home

there is no better place to ride out the natural disaster

your room is cleaned, and you know you can't hold back the ocean with your fists

a messiah complex would just make it harder to enjoy what you have

you don't need that anchor around your neck and neither does anyone else, especially sad single millennials, many of whom rock that anchor around their necks, like it's a badge of honor

I should do a fusion of Jordan Peterson & Jocko Willink

boot camp for sad single Millennial incels, to sort their miserable lives out

but I'm too lazy, and I can't stand them, die in a fire Millennials, reee

Yeah, I recognized the voice, and he looked vaguely familiar, but I couldn't place who it was until I saw his name, and everything clicked together. There aren't many black linguistics with a Scottish last name. I'm mostly just used to hearing him, and had only seen his picture once before. So it was a nice little surprise.

It is also always nice to see well respected professors outside of the political sphere, having quality political opinions. Gives me hope that this thing can be turned around.
