Videos at the link. What's your first takeaway from this ugly scene?

Liberal berates Trump supporter on an airplane, gets escorted off by cops
Meet Scott Koteskey from Montana who was in D.C. for the inauguration of Donald Trump. On his way home, flying out of Baltimore through Seattle, Scott was berated by his female seatmate on the flight for daring to support Trump, leading to this hilarious Facebook status update and now-viral video of the encounter

Love trumps hate, hm?

Looks like being a colossal asshole trumps her chances of staying on the flight. Pro tip, if you want to go home because your mother in law died, try this great product.... it's called Shut the Fuck Up™. The brand of 'love' I'm seeing post election from the left is not giving me the warm fuzzies.

Lovely. EDIT: even better. Odds Madonna gets a visit from the FBI?

That's why the POTUS can have a big effect on the economy. The bully pulpit is key to morale and Trump plans to leverage the animal spirits to his advantage to help create a self-fulfilling MAGA. You don't need to be economic policy wonk as POTUS to boost the morale of the nation in regards to the economy, so Trump chooses not to become one. His salesman skills matter far more when it comes to effecting American morale than being a policy wonk, so it would be a waste of time to start focusing on wonkery over salesmanship now. Trump ignores what doesn't matter and focuses on what does, but because he's acting outside of the box, many people think he's crazy, but there is a method to the madness.

Joe Kennedy says the Democrats can gain back the voters they lost to Trump by 'addressing the economic needs of working class and middle class voters'
Massachusetts Congressman Joe Kennedy says contemporary party leaders could take a page from that history by listening harder to the economic worries of Democratic voters who bolted the party in November.

...

'There was a message sent on this Election Day where many voters that had traditionally come back home to the Democratic Party didn't,' Kennedy told The Associated Press. 'I think not taking the time to ask the question why, to listen to their response, and to try to understand why we lost some folks that had been in support of Democratic candidates and the Democratic Party for so long is folly.'
...
Kennedy said Democrats can do that while also sticking to their progressive roots, including standing up for 'people that feel marginalized and voiceless.'
'We've got a proud history of that and we should never back away from that,' he said. 'You can do that while also recognizing there are an awful lot of people in our country hurting and that we have to do a better job addressing the economic needs of working class and middle class voters.'
They already said they don't need white people. There was a white Democrat governor who tried to bring up the point that they were losing white voters, and every time he mentioned it, he had to balance it with non-white friendly talking points.

It was hilarious.

Yes Becky. We really do have an issue with reaching white voters, but of course I'm firmly in support of affirmative action. Hey, where you goin'? What'd I say?

All I said was we need to do more to win the white vote, and that we need a white tax to counter white privilege. Why is everyone leaving?

They would have to remove the core of the party to get rid of that ideology, and that isn't gonna happen. My prediction is that it will continue to grow, they will alienate more people with each day, and the party will die. It's replacement will be the people who have been driven away.

They bought and owned the anti-white, urban, and corporate votes. Now a significant portion of their base are those people lighting our streets on fire, attacking people, and expressing endless racial and gender hatred for the rest of us, and who really wants to join with them under any tent no matter how big?

Oh you suddenly care about the working man, even though you hate his whiteness and the male privilege he possesses while he can't find a job, lost his family, and daily considers joining all the men who commit suicide? Sure thing, princess.
I shoulda just looked down one post. This.

That was my thought. You can see the problem right there. This woman has enjoyed decades of abusing people without getting reigned in by her husband.

Trump Freezes Hiring of Many Federal Workers
President Trump instituted a government-wide hiring freeze Monday, signing an executive order that he said would affect all employees “except for the military.”

Trump had pledged to halt government hiring as part of his campaign’s “Contract with the American Voter,” which he framed as part of a larger effort to “clean up corruption and special interest in Washington D.C.” That campaign plan, however, also included exemptions for public safety and public health.
But Stier said there are real deficiencies in the federal government already, and a freeze will just exacerbate them. The government spends nearly 80 percent of its $90 billion IT budget on operations and maintenance, and there are nearly three times as many employees over the age of 60 as under the age of 30.

“That’s not the workforce you want to freeze, you want to refresh it,” he said.
Sounds like they've done a bang up job of working to refresh it in the past few years. Only now it's a problem? :snooty:

Indeed, and that was core to the original MAGA's success with the Gipper, but as per usual, it's not in the liberal's interests for America to succeed unless they are in charge, and they are in the majority overall, and even against the Gippper, I've never seen them go quite so hysterically negative as they have now, the Stop Harper!Factor is off the charts, and with the media in total alignment against MAGA, I could see it all being derailed by this relentlessly negative propgaganda campaign, Trump is going to need some early wins, or this could just degenerate into a quagmire.

Obama did jack shit for eight years, and he got a free ride from the media, but now the situation is reversed, there's no easy wins to be had here for Trump, he needs to score some goals.
