He's not the best rapper, but he's the best rap producer. He's the Bill Belichick of rap basically, except he can still play, but he's not Tom Brady.

Many of the rappers that he produced reached greater heights than he did, including Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Tupac, Eminem and 50 Cent, and that's cutting the list short, at least when it comes to rapping. But none can match him when it comes to producing though, his combined legacy in rap game dwarfs all others, but he's not the greatest rapper.

For me, it's Ice Cube hands down, he simply had the best flow of them all, clearly the most talented rapper of the group, and that's why he had successful solo career that dwarfed the rest.
