in terms of the GoG podcast, that was just terrible

you might have five minutes to get me interested

but they just spent the first five minutes blabbering on about nothing

I was done right there, but I skipped ahead a bit, and just sounded the same all the way through

I'm not going to listen to you babble on aimlessly for two hours or whatever

you need to get right to the point, what is the point, why would I care ?

and you need a radio voice, you can't be umming & ahing in people's ears on radio

I can't even get to giving you an opinion on the ideas in the podcast

because I didn't know what the idea was in the introduction

and the production was so bad, I didn't stick around to find out

that needs a lot of work, that is not a polished product, I couldn't even stand listening to it

I don't know computers, but I know lectures, interviews & command voice

you need to work on all three

before you go to a ninety minute talk, get your shit together

big rambling topics, you're not ready for that

smaller topics, shorter talks, much more focused, get to the points, and get a command voice

I'm a music guy, I listen to music all day, if I got to stop to listen to you talk, it better be good

if you don't have me interested in the first two minutes, I'm out

meanwhile you spent first few minutes talking about nothing, just blathering

umm, ah, blah blah, umm, ah, blah blah, we're going to talk about something blah blah

you gotta come out of the gate with the most engaging point you have, right away

you need to get peoples attention right away, or we are turning the dial, bro

this is show business, nobody fucking cares unless you make them care

you need a hook, something to state your case in one or two sentences

the greatest empire in history was not founded with grenadiers nor even by a Briton

it was founded by a gay Dutchman with a printing press in a bloodless coup

it was not force of arms but rather liberalization which conquered the world

something like that, something that gets your point across right away

then imeduately do your intro

I'm Master Corporal Smitty (retired ) my guest today is Doctor Martin Hash Esquire

the topic is the Rise & Fall of the British Empire

from the Battle of the Boyne to the the Battle of the Somme

etcetera

now you are in essence giving a lecture, and its on the radio right in people's ears

so you have to get rid of your distracting verbal tics, umms, ahs, and the like

that makes you sound nervous, you don't what you're talking about, you're just blahtering

the trick is to slow down and say less, don't rush and don't fill in gaps with umms & ahs

The liberals and the socialists parted ways after 1848. The liberals didn't want to back social redistribution reforms. They just wanted freedom of speech, press freedom, getting rid of censorship, freedom of association and all that liberal stuff.
When the socialists wanted to go further with guaranteed income and such the liberals abandoned them.

Now they are joining forces again.

the Glorious Revolution is the founding of the modern liberal state

bloodless invasion with a printing press to establish Parliamentary Supremacy & the Bill of Rights

the adversary at the time was not socialism, it was Roman Catholic autocracy

represented by the global Hegemon, the House of Bourbon at Versailles

so the first thing the modern liberal state did, was go to war against the filthy Papists

in Ireland & Scotland, which were bases from which the French could launch an invasion

the socialists simply lost the votes

Democratic Socialism failed, they never won an election

so now they are trying to seize power by religious orthodoxy, to wit, Popery

as I said, if the left loses the elections, they resort to autocracy

the ultimate result of the French Revolution being a new Emperor

once the Terror incited a counterrevolution, the left needed Bonaparte to bail them out

let's put it this way

in the French Revolution the left was the Commune, the right was the King

but the King is simply God's representative on earth, the final arbiter above any legislation

in the Declaration of Independence preamble, that final arbiter is the Creator

inalienable rights endowed by God's representative, whatever that be to thee

so that is the pinnacle of the classical liberal Enlightenment, and yet it is on the right, not the left

the left is the Commune in the streets saying there is no Creator, therefore you have no rights

prior to the Enlightement, the right was the Pope in Rome

the Pontifex Maximus, last office of the Roman Imperators

that is who crowned the German Kings of Europe

the Glorious Revolution was a revolt against that

so the Enlightenment is only to the left of the Pope and his Imperators

but otherwise, it defends the rights endowed by God, simply without Popery in between

now what you are seeing a rise of secular Popery, the left is adopting the model of Roman autocracy

and thus there are new First Citizens to rule tyrannically over the masses from the shadows

Princeps Civitatus

just fyi, the correct pronunciation sounds like "Prin-Keps", not "Prin-zeps", nor "Prin-seps"

when you search the internet, the pronunciations it gives are wrong, not in Latin

in Latin it is "Prin-Keps Civvy-tah-tus"

the military rank of the Princeps was "Imperator" : Commander-in-Chief

the religious office of the Princeps was "Pontifex Maximus" : the Pope in Rome

Princeps Civitatus, Imperator et Pontifex Maximus

the Roman Emperor was the richest man in the world ( Augustus net worth $4 trillion in USD )

also was Supreme commander of the armed forces

and God's representative on earth

this is how you get to Princes & Kings

Britain itself is founded by the Roman Imperator

namely Claudius Caesar with the Roman invasion of the island in 43 AD

Britannia is an invention of the Roman Empire

it is Roma Britannia

although it is not yet English, England does not exist at this juncture

the English are the Anglo-Saxons who come in the wake of Rome

the Celts call us Sassanach, which is Gaelic for "Saxon"

it is we Anglo-Saxon north Germans who founded the rule of law in Britannia

which is a direct line to the Magna Carta in 1215

when the Anglo-Saxon Kings are forced to submit to the rule of law by their subjects, the Dukes

that is the founding of England as we know it for all intents & purposes

bear in mind that the Anglo-Saxons had been conquered by the Normans from France in 1066

but the liberalizing effects of the Magna Carta, suddenly gives the English an advantage

and soon enough it is the English who are invading Norman France and seizing power there as well

the Romans were at one point the most liberal, and they ruled the Greek World by those means

but soon the Germans are the most liberal, and they come to rule by those means as well

the more you liberalize, the richer you get, the richer you get, the more powerful your army

to wit, freedom = power

always bear in mind that the British Empire is not the English empire

British is not a race, British is not a place, British is a system of goverance

Roma Britannia, anyone can be a Roman, so long as they submit to Roman law

the rule of law, Magna Carta 1215 to the Bill of Rights 1689

William of Orange establishes Westminster Parliamentary Supremacy

that goes on to conquer the Roman Catholic Scots & Irish

the Anglo-Saxon empire is a Scots German Empire

founded by the House of Hanover in the Seven Years War, established 10 February 1763

that Scots German Empire goes on to conquer the world

until it is beaten at its own game by a even more liberalizing force, the Declaration of Independence

eventually the Scots Germans blow themselves up at the Somme

when they drop the ball, America picks it up and runs with it
